A-shape (most common residential lamp type)
B-shape (candle-like, usually in chandeliers, ceiling fans, accents)
Globe-ish (very round, found in bathroom vanities usually)
Spot/focus lights (typically halogens, usually in track lighting)
Security/flat top/spot lights (usually outside/security lights)
Roundish-top but somewhat directionally focused (usually in recessed can/ceiling)
